This is a photo taken from the border wall/fence of a Greek Cypriot military cemetery with the intention of emphasizing the insignia on the wall itself.

incidentally the image was taken on the 11th November 2005 at just gone 11am. Although this date is not relevant to those who had fallen in combat and had subsequently been placed within the cemetery it was, as an English guy, Remembrance Day which counts for the fallen of all wars who should never be forgotten, not simply for WWI and II.

(I hope that there is no offense taken in my choice of shot, it was simply a powerful view in my opinion. I had intended to capture an image of the Obelisk in the centre of the grounds however it did not come out right on my digital camera)
